Historic Step By Air India, Launched Direct Flights From Delhi to Halwara (Ludhiana), Commencing from 15 May

On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the Indian flag carrier, Air India, took a historic decision to add a new destination to its regular routes. On April 2, 2026, Air India announced that it will provide daily flight connectivity to Halwara (Ludhiana) city, which will not only enhance connectivity between the states but also attract more travelers to boost the states' economy and tourism. These new flights will start on 15 May 2026, when Air India will operate two daily flights using its Airbus A320 aircraft, creating a new bridge between Delhi (DEL) and Halwara (HWR).
